FLICK OFF! (I guess you received my email)

• Turn off lights, televisions and/or computers when leaving the room.
• Don't run the tap while brushing your teeth.
• If you are leaving the computer on while you leave it for a few minutes, turn the monitor off.
• Switch all lightbulbs in the house to energy efficient ones.
• Use mechanical pencils instead of wood ones that use new wood, or use wood pencils made of recycled wood.
• Save plastic bags for shopping instead of getting new ones everytime you go out.
• Turn your computer on standby/sleep when you are not using it, but are coming back.
• When having a party, buy PAPER plates as apposed to styrofoam. Styrofoam is not recyclable in provinces other than Ontario.
