I have 1 more day to study 5 more chapters.

Hi, peeple. D: These are notes I have to remember, y'know they suck :

  • Photographs as sources of information
  • Photographs as records of changes
  • Photographs as a tool to study the environment
  • Landscape photographs (Taken at ground level)
  • Aerial photographs (From an aeroplane/tall building)
  • Satellite images (Taken from satellite in space)
  • Step 1 : Divide the photograph into three sections
  • Step 2 : Identify and descrbe the physical and human features
  • Step 3 : Draw geographical conclusions
  • Landforms and rocks (Mountains/volcanoes. Limestone/granite.)
  • Rivers, lakes and oceans (75% of Earth is covered with water.)
  • Weather and Climate (Weather = Short period. Climate = Long period.)
  • Natural vegetation (Not planted by people)
  • Mountain (More than 600 metres high. Steep slopes and a narrow top/peak. Mountain together = mountain range.)
  • Hill (Less than 600 metres high. Round in shape and gentle slopes.)
  • Valley (Low area of land between hills/mountains)
  • Plain (Broad, flat and low area)
  • Plateau (Raised area of land with a flat, broad top and steep slopes.)
  • The Earth has :
  • an outer solid crust (5 - 70km)
  • a highly viscous mantle (70 - 2890km)
  • a liquid outer core (2890 - 5155km)
  • a sold inner core (5155 - 6371km)
  • And more to be listed.
